ltz400 corrosion problem

Default ltz400 corrosion problem

will engine ice not work if you use a 05 cover(new). i went to put my new 1 on today and relized it had a mg on it. lookes like they sent me a 05 instead of 04!!! not happy. i was thinking of just using it but with diffrent coolant.

i bought some engine ice, will it not work with a new cover??? its di-irionized not dilluted.

I havent looked really deep into it but that I know the 04' cover will not fit due to the changes in the clutch in 05' and 06' they added a disk and ended up making a deeper case to hold it. (the Mag case) so I dont know if you have to retrofit an 04' case to make it work.

It will fit. There are a ton of people using them in the 05 and 06's.

The extra clutch plate does not matter. They will fit.

The guy over at www.advantagecyclelc.com is selling complete kits, and has been selling them for months now.

Check it out! Suzuki FINALLY stepped up to the plate! They are replacing the clutch covers with aluminum ones.

ive just came across this post i kno its a lil old.. but mine is leaking to like really bad its getting worse and i have an 04.. any ideas what to do? i already replaced 1 seal or gasket in the area of the water pump but it didnt do anything
