Hey guys I just got my new 06 eiger auto 4 wheel drive a couple weeks ago and love it. My friend at work has a 03 Rancher manual shift that he swears is lightning fast stock and my neighbor also says he rides his friend stock rancher 350 and it is so quick. My question is I havent had a chance to run them yet but to me it seems the eiger is very fast for a utility atv and I have had mine to 55 and it gets there quick, do yall have any experience racing a rancher?

 

The eiger would win I think. One of my buddys has an older honda 350 and I always beat him, not by much only a few lengths. I have the manual shift and have not driven the auto but if it gets up like mine you should be ok and you should have a higher top end. I would like to here how it turns out if you do race.

 

I can almost keep up with a P-650...The Eigers are quick (for a 400 ute) I'd race him...He'll always make an excuse anyway.

 

My friend sold his Rancher 5 speed because I'd always beat him and got a Foreman. That didn't work either so he got a Rincon.

 

I just bought a '06 Rancher ES 4x4 about 3 weeks ago. I love it but the top speed is weak for stock. I only top out at 42mi/hr. I got it up to 50 by having the throttle cracked open down a steep grade. Need to get some mods...

 

I've got them both, 05 rancher AT 400 and a 05 eiger 400 manual. the eiger blowes the rancher away on speed and performance.

 

wow.. umm i think somethings wrong here.. i had mine up to 56 with two people on it and going on a straight gravel road in pa.. no way you only got 40 + or -
anyways who cares about speed..
