Does any one have one in there 450. It says it gains 7 hp.

 

I do. It changes the EFI mapping and seemed to give it more RPM's. It's supposed to allow more fuel to pass through when the airbox lid is removed.

A must-do item for LTR owners IMOA since it's only $40. I don't see why the dealers just don't throw it in during the inital sale of the quad.

I only drove mine up the driveway with it all corked up. Once in the garage we did the bomb, lid, exhaust work......

If you do the bomb , you need 2 take off the lid and the spark arrestor . And yes !!! It is a must !

 

well guys i got the ltr today and man it has alot of power. I inserted the cherry bomb and it makes a big change. it makes it sound better when you take out the spark arrestor.

 

Congrats! ! ! Make sure you take off the air box lid with the CB installed as well..

Did you ask them if yours doesn't fall into the frame recall? You can tell by your VIN #.

You may also want to check out ltr450hq.com. Alot of good info on that site specific to the LTR's.
