06 Eiger manual hard to shift.
I have an of Eiger , bout 200 miles on it. It is a manual and if i try to race anybody when i get high rpms in 1st gear it won't shift to 2nd. I have to slow down and then shift. Also if im goin down hill just coasting and its holding back and revving up pretty high I can't shift to 2nd.
Is this normal on all eigers?

This has happend to me a couple of times, when I took it to the stealer they could not find anything wrong with it, I have 1500 miles on mine but I dont really race it, I am glad to hear that mine is not the only one that has done this, sorry that this might not help at all.

I have an 02 Manual Shift, It is also hard to shift at times, mainly on a pull like up hill from 1st to 2nd. does it in high or low range.
Took it to the dealer a couple times, they said nothing wrong so I had to learn how to adapt to it, 2700 miles later it's still the same.

06 Eiger manual hard to shift.
I have an 04 Eiger Manual shift with 650 miles and it does the same thing in 1st.
I assumed it was the clutch not being able to engage at high RPMs in 1st gear.
It does not seam to do it in other gears.
I too have learned to live with it. Just have to get out of 1st a little quicker than might like.
It would be great if someone made a Utility ATV with a full manual (clutch also) so you can shift whenever you want to.
