KQ 700 55mph top speed?
Thanks guys,
I never thought about the speedo being off due to the tire/rim difference. It makes perfect sense now.
I know that the added weight of all the stuff i added would lose some speed, but what i saw was wayyyy too much.
The speedo calibration makes up for that difference tho!! What a relief!
Thanks again!

Not only the weight of the tires but the height of the tires will change the gearing of the ATV. This will alter the how the power is applied to the ground. Bottom line is that it isn't going to be as fast. Recalibrating the speedometer isn't going to change that. Nice if that could be done though. Not having an accurate speedo is annoying as you are noticing. You can always rely on a GPS unit which can now give fairly accurate speed readings. That or pace yourself with another vehicle and read of speeds over a radio to get an idea of how bad it is off and commit the variance to memory.
