ok quadzilla boys, my friend just picked up a 89 lt 500 with a trinity pipe and silencer. everthing else is stock! problem is he is going too silver lake michigan on sept 29 and i know he needs too have a spark arrester and be at 96 decibals. so who makes a good pipe that makes power with a spark arrester and 96 to 98 decibals? or how can i modify trinity silencer without causing too much back pressure. { do not want too overheat piston and sieze up} anyone heard of a dr Q? i heard he is a 500 guru? if so please let me know i can get a hold of him. thanks for any ideas,,,

 

when i goto silver lakes i plug on an arrester to pass test at gate and remove it when in the park he will see alot of 2 strokes doing it. good luck tellem look me up sometime lol

 

get a clamp on sparky spark arrrestor of the same size as the diameter of the trinity silencer.

hi i have bourght a lt500 in bad condition and was wonderingf if anyone could send me picks of ones for ideas of paint jobs and parts on them! are they getting rare now? what are they worth? also any places that still sell parts?

can check out my pics here on the fourm they are going for the stock color look, well they are, but its what a decent looking stock bike looks like with a new seat cover and no rear plastics, because they looked dumb anyways. I never got around to cutting the edge of the front plastics for a smoother line to the seat before I sold it, oh well. I got myself a CR500 supermotard now.
