Loud clicking noise from rear of 05 Vinson
I have an 05 Vinson with 1600 miles on it. I just started hearing a loud clicking noise coming from the rear. It will make this noise if you push down on the rear of the machine when setting still. I'm thinking it may be the swingarm bushings or one of the shocks making the noise. I haven't had the chance to have someone help me locate the exact source of the noise. I need someone to push up and down on the rear while I lay down underneath the machine. Anyone have an idea what the problem may be?

I'm familiar with worn out swingarm bushings and how to check them, I used to own a Polaris.
I did some research today and discovered that the swingarm has an actual bearing and not a bushing. My guess would be that they are rusted and seizing or binding up at times. While riding it the last time out the noise would come and go.
I have a ride planned at Hatfield & McCoy in a couple of weeks and probably won't get the chance to replace anything. Hopefully it will hold up on the ride!

Also lok real close at the upper engine mount. They are prone to cracking and the crack is hard to see. It will make a strange clicking niose also. It took me a while to find the noise when mine cracked. When my buddys crack he couldn't figure out the noise either, I rode it and knew instantly what it was.
