Actually, I think the reason the cost of maintenance is so high is this:
Trinity Stage IV Exhaust
Alum Air Box, k&n filter
Dyna CDI
Trail Tech Speedo
ELKA Shocks
Dura Blue 2+2 axle
Lonestar +2 A-Arms
Tucker +2 swingarm
Renthal chain, sprockets
and bars
Motion Pro Twist throttle
Maier Plastics
AC Chromed nerf , bumper and rack
skid plates
ITP Wheels and Shredder tires
470cc. 13.5/1 JE piston, ported,polished
Hinson clutch,
Stage 2 Hot cams,41mil FCR carb,
180/55 jets, clip on 5th

I dont think so. I really havent had problems with any of it except the axle bearings and that was on the stock swingarm, the bad thing is some items you have to get from the dealer and they know it so it costs way more that it should. most of my maintenance is just oil changes and keeping it lubed and clean. its really been good to me as for problems or high maintenance. It cost me a few dollars to get it this way but now if I have a problem with it, it doesnt cost me as much to repair it because I can get the parts I need from different places for less money than what the dealer wants for it
