ltz50 quad no power

I haven't got one yet bud! CTRacing.com has a k&n with the outerwear for about $50 bucks. Check it out. I have a friend who can get k&n for cheap so Im probably just going to take off the stock and measure the carb inlet. After you have that you can go on k&n's website and choose from their universal filters. Im sure thats what CT did. Its a simple little filter. Or maybe Ill just pay the 50 bucks!!

I ordered a fmf pipe from Dennis Kirk for a Christmas present. It looks good and is way cheaper than CT's pipe. Im going to put that pipe on it, get the k&n filter and then change the sprocket. After that Ill probably have to get the cdi. I guess I better try removing those rollers also!

EdKatt,
Can you tell me what you did to change the mixture. I know there are 2 adjustment screws. The one in the center of the carb is idle and all it does it raise the needle just like giving more throttle. Then there is a screw to the right of that closer to the air cleaner and I think that is to adjust the air somehow, but I dont fully understand it. Can you or someone explain?

What I do, and I learned from tuning my chopper, is to raise the idle up about two turns in, it should have a steady rpm and "sound". Then you adjust the air/fuel mixture in or out to maximize your rpm. You will hear the rpm go up or down as you adjust it. Once you have achieved the max rpm, adjust your idle back down to where it was or where it seems good. Then you are as good as it gets without changing jets.
That screw on the right is the one you want.
Let me know if you need more!
