Default ltz50 quad no power

I have no idea where to look for this screw that is a resistor... I thought it was part of the little black box which is more like a relay. I removed the wire from that relay and I saw a screw inside that. I tried to remove it, and after about 15min or so I completely destroyed it ....... I thought the bike was going to be down for the weekend but after some crazy glue and silicone it's somewhat back to normal...
There was 1 good thing that came out of all this, in my panic I removed this relay from Mom's quad ltz250 and it work perfectly fine I didn't notice any upgrade but at lease this thing was running... Maybe with the resistor also removed it would help with a better electrical current.. can't say for sure though
Now where is this resistor ??? On the spark plug wire ???? On the spark plug boot side or where the wire plugs into the relay ????

it is in the end of the wire on the spark plug boot end pop the little rubber seal of the end of the boot it is right where the spark plug fits in . You know where you take the little think of the spark plug to make the threads show so it fits in the boot . well it where that fits in the boot you should see the screw head take that out and you will find the resistor and then a little spring.

hope that helped if I get off work early enough I will try to get a picture for you, if needed

WHOA WHOA WHOA.......... THERE IS NO EXTERNAL RESISTOR IN THE WIRE LEAVE THE STOCK WIRE ALONE IT IS WHAT IS IS.....THE SPARK PLUG IS A RESISTOR PLUG.......ITS A BIG EXPLANATION BUT A SUMMARY IS A RESISTOR PLUG IS USED BECAUSE NON RESISTOR PLUGS CAN CAUSE A FREQUENCY THAT MAY MESS WITH THE CDI.

EDC THE "SCREW YOU TRIED TO TAKE OUT OF THE RELAY LOOKING THING"...... THATS YOUR COIL

YAMADOGG, EDC, KINGQUAD450 THE NOLOGY WIRE HAS A CAPACITOR BUILT INTO THE WIRE ITSELF, AFTER THE COIL FIRES AND SEND ITS SPARK INTO THE WIRE, THE SPARK GOES THROUGH WINDINGS IN THE CAPACITOR WHICH BASICALLY RAMPS UP VOLTAGE TO ITS IONIZATION POINT THEN BAM IT HITS YOUR PLUG ......BIG FAT SPARK. YOU USE A NON RESISTOR PLUG AS RECOMMENDED BY NOLOGY BECAUSE THE WIRE HAS A RESISTANCE VALUE BUILT INTO IT

With a non resistor spark plug, shouldn't you get better throttle response and a better spark at high rpms????

Just change the plug right???

THERE IS NO POINT IN CHANGING TO A NON RESISTOR PLUG IF YOU DONT HAVE A NOLOGY WIRE.......IN FACT THE RFI MAY CAUSE IT TO RUN WORSE
