sorry Can't post that yet</end quote></div>

what do you got up your sleeve able to post it yet</end quote></div>

Well here is the story. Been having problems with the little 50 running right since we got it back from the shop after they overhauled the motor. Thought that it was blowing the cdi units, plus the battery was always dead. Started checking it out some and first found that the unit was charging over 18 volts, than I cleaned all the connections with brake cleaner and blew them out still no change. So I pulled the right side cover to get down to the stator and the pickup coils which one of the two bolts was missing that the little plastic cover on(later to find out the hole was stripped out that is why it was missing). The wire that runs to the stator was routed on the wrong side of the pickup coil mount and was rubbing on the flywheel causing it to short out which was draining the battery and causing the over charge. So by now I am getting ticked but it gets better the end of the crank is screwed up because they beat on it with a hammer to get the flywheel off then stripped the nut back on.So the next day we loaded it up and took it back to see if they are going to stand behind their screw ups of coarse the service manager left early so we was told to leave it and they would have him look at it in the morning and call us with what they are going to do. Two days later they call and said the ignition switch is bad that is what was causing the problem and gave me an $84 bill for diagnosing the problem.

They started giving me a hard time about tearing it apart myself.
1st off if I let them tear it apart I would have never known or heard about that wire becasue they would have never told me
2nd off I am a mechanic by trade just didn't feel like fixing their screw ups

whatz up guys the quad doing about 24-26mph now... Still waiting on the new sprocket & chain..
I'm having a little issue with the baby starting from a stand still to full throttle, the bike bogs just a little before it opens up..

Where is the air/fuel screw ??? i don't think i've ever notice it before when i did the jets or installed the intake... Is it on the same side as the idle adjust, do i have to take off the plastics again ?????

The air/fuel screw is to the right of the idle screw. It has a blob of soft silicone over the screw. Dig it out with a screwdriver or a knife blade. You can access it without removing anything. The choke lever is slightly in the way.

No matter how I adjust ours it still will sometimes do strange things at idle, but it's acceptable.
