Default Eiger Gear/Trans Chatter?

Situation

06 Eiger. Stock. Semi-Auto.

1. Trail racing at 40mph
2. Crest a hill and need to make a 90degree turn about 50yards out.
3. Hit the brakes to slow to 15mph

Regardless if I leave it in 4th gear, or push down on the shifter and hold it in neutral, I get this chattering sound from either the trans or rear differential...sound like a clicking sound. Is this normal? What is it? If I downshift into third, and use the engine braking, it doesn't do it, but it throws the engine into real high rpms..not sure that's good for it either.

Mine makes that noise if i lock the rear brakes and slide.Like going down a hill. If it's in 4wd it dosen't do it.

Gear lash causes it. I wouldn't get too excited about it, mine does it all the time and still works excellent with 2000 miles
