can u guys tell me y does my z250 skips sometimes when i gun it with my new exhaust

 

did you jet it??? if not.... its running lean, not getting enough fuel. Not good for your engine. I'm not sure what carb is on the z250 so i cant help with jets but if i was you i wouldnt drive it to you get some bigger jets in her.

 

I was going to say that you might a exhaust leak at the engine.

 

no i didn't jet it so i need some1 2 tell me dis should i put a jet kit in it or just a main jet and can some1 tell me y da exhaust smells like oil

 

Your going to need a main jet and possibly air fuel adjustments. Id take it into your local dealer to have it jetted to get it done right.

 

o ok well i am goin to take it to the shop tuesday and get it done we have like 5 shops up here and they don't open on mondays {dumb}

 

The places around here used to close mondays but now they realize that they anger their customers by doing that. I hope you have a good honest dealer around you that will do it the right way and not over charge you. It will take all the skipping out of it unless you have a internal motor problem from running it to lean all the time, but it should be ok hopefully.

How long have you had the pipe on. You say it smells like oil. I hope you didnt burn up your rings.

 

i had it on 4 a week but i remember da directions says it suppose to do dat until it burns out
