the low down on eiger fan

okay here it is , looking at the left fron of the machine pull a couple clips off and pull back inner sheild you will see the front of the engine you will see the oil filter
the oil sending unit and then the temp switch for the cooling fan disconnect the cooling fan clip and test the fan from the batery pos and neg, just use some jumper wires this will tell you if your fan is working or not .follow the wire harness up towards the top of the machine you will fine what looks like a transistor it has three legs maybe emitter base ,collector , not sure but it is inline with the wire for the fan so my guess is if this dies your fan wont run ,not sure if this is a relay. would have to look at a diagram it is about the size of a small fuse .that should help alot of people,
