LTZ50 problems HELP

I'm sorta thinking this too !
We tried to disconnect it on our bike but discovered that it is connected into the stock CDI and therefore cannot be simply bypassed.
If it is not releasing after starting then it will make the bike rev limit very early

Me three... If its disconnected the CDI kicks in a really low rev limit

My son has a 2006 LTZ 50. I had major problems with the cdi. It wouldn't let it even crank. I replaced it and everything is good. From everyone that I have talked too they aren't that great. I just replaced it with a stock one for a 50 but from what I can read the way to go would be the one for the 90 I just don't know how reliable it is. Good luck.
