cracked fenders

Default cracked fenders

whats a quick fix for really cracked fenders without spending a 100$$
for new ones

Default cracked fenders

Drill holes and zip tie together. Other fix would be to purchase a plastic welding kit. See Rockymountainatv.com for that one.

Not as quick as zip ties but less obvious would be fiberglass repair kit

Default cracked fenders

Soldering iron and some clear plastic. Take the iron and heat the plastics to sew back together, adding a little of the extra plastic as you go. Works excellent.

i was going to fiber glass but my dad told me it would be to stiff
and it would shatter if i hit something

yeah the fiberglass will stiffen it up quite a bit. but what ive done before is welded it, i use a hunk of plastic and a blowtorch and go to town, seems to work pretty well. ive used zip ties before too.

the soldering iron and clear plastic works great. I got a kit for like 15 bucks and used it plenty of times

Default cracked fenders

I do the ziptie method most of the time as my plastic is brittle and cracks often (nee new ones soon) and make sure you drill holes at the end of each crack to stop it from it cracking anymore.
