i just put a full fmf exhaust on my 07 400z. i was riding it for a while last night and then out of nowhere it bogged out and died. and now it doesnt want to start and after starting it keeps stalling out. any ideas on what the issue could be? think it just needs to be jetted?

 

I would have definetly jetted it. After a full system, jetting is a must...also get a better air filter as well. When you get it pushing more air out, you need to get it to breathe more air in. I'm not saying that the jetting is your problem of not running, but it certainly can't help either! Most definetly re-jet.....Good Luck!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

If it was running then quit you may have a fuel supply problem like trash in the jet/bowl etc.. Bikes come very lean stock for emissions standards. You should always re jet with intake or exhaust changes.

 

even after you rejet you might need to adjust your needle up or down too

my buddy just had the same problem with his z400 he rejetted and then ran fine he runs a 170 main at around 1k elevation
