What is the stock handlebar size? I was looking at bars and it was saying 7/8 and 1 1/8...what do these mean?

 

Stock is usually 7/8" diameter. This is the outside diameter of the bars. A tape measure or ruler will tell you for sure.

 

Stock bars for everything except a few of the newer 450 racers is 7/8." The 1 1/8" "Fat Bars" are still 7/8" at the bar ends where the grips and controls go, but is fatter at the stem/bar clamp area for increased strength. To run 1 1/8" bars you need to have the bigger clamps.
