Default drz400s

I have been riding quads for a few years now and only in the past year have bought one of my own. But with fuel prices they way they are I think I am gonna take the plunge and buy myself a motorcycle and have decided to get the drz400s. I am interested in if anyone knows where to get a good deal on a new one. I am in the Kansas city area and my local dealership is selling them for about $5800, but I am sure there are dealerships around that can give me a better deal. Any knowledge would be appreciated.

Thanks

Nate

Check stlouis cragslist. Or the KC craigslist. There was one a while back here in STL listed for 5000.00, and that was the SUPERMOTO model.

Yeah get the SM. They look great and have a better fork and front brake. That's about the going price around Wisconsin too.

Also check the classifieds at advrider.com and thumpertalk.com. Both are enthusiast sites for dual sport riders. Usually you can find some good deals that someone else who cares about bikes already did all the usual upgrades to.
