Fan Problems
I have a 05 Suzuki Twin Peaks 700. I am having a problem with overheating and my fan not coming on. I had problems one day, it was fine the next and then the next weekend the fan wouldn't come on again. Anyone know of a fix for this? I have checked the breaker and it seems to be fine. I also have made sure to keep the radiator and fan area clear of mud and gunk.
Thanks,
Dan

Suspect MuddinAK will be long gone, that is a ten year old post. Most Suzukis have separate temp warning light senders and temp senders for the fan so, most likely, one of them is on the blink, either the fan one isn't switching on when it gets hot, or the temp light one is switching too early, telling you it is overheating when it isn't. You can test the fan is OK by finding the sensor and jumping the wires together where it plugs into the loom (if it is a two wire sensor). With ignition on, the fan should run. If that is OK you need to judge which sensor is at fault, if it seems to be really hot when the warning light comes on, probably the fan sensor at fault.
