I want to block off the oil injection on my sons 2000 lt80 .Can i just make a a blank cover and block the line to the carb.also does the oil pump shaft stay in or do i remove.i blocked off my polaris and it came with a aluminum shaft that went in befors the cover so i dont want to be mistaken. also does anyone sell a block off kit for the lt80 thanks for the info

Thanks for the info.Just to be sure i remove case remove black plastic piece reinstall case .Do i remove oil pump shaft ,make blank cover,and block off line to carb then premix.Also i read on the forum how to maintence the clutch but cant find it now.Can you help or point me in the right direction.I know it said to remove front clutch ,clean,inspect,and lube but i rember it said something about sanding the rear.thanks again

Once the black thing is removed, it's your call. You can leave it alone or make something. The line to the carb needs to be plugged.
Check the rollers for flat spots. Lightly scuff the rear contact pads to remove the glaze. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

dear sir.I just removed the oil injection units off my kids two lt80s.I have a few questions before i fire them up.One the line that comes off the top of the oil tank and goes wherever does this need blocked off also?i plugged the line off the carb and removed the little black plastic piece that runs the pump also made block off plate to replace the oil pump. do i need to do anything else?last question i run amsoil synthetic in the polaris that i removed the oil injection from can i run the same in these without any problems thanks

first off thanks for the info .But one more question the fellow that i used to buy my synthetic amsoil from has passed away so now i need to know a good premix to run.i am looking for a oil with very little smoke because the kids hate the cloud of smoke from the rider in front. they are running stock lt80s minus the oil injection.what do you run ?i believe i used to buy 100 to 1 premix from him does this sound right.thanks again
