I just rebuilt the rear suspension on my girlfriends z400. when i got it all done i noticed that the suspension was really soft. so i looked and the little valve(looks like a tire valve) was gone. so this let all the nitrogen out. is this fixable or do i have to buy a whole complete shock????

 

was it threded in the hole or was it part of the casting?

 

just go on ebay. you can buy a brand new shock for $30.
