Default LT 80 stability

As I posted once before, I just rebuilt this for my Son who is moving from a Honda 50 bike to this quad. My question is, it seems to tip when he turns. Is this normal. If "I" turn and give it gas the front comes off the ground, I understand this, but is this normal for this model? It just doesn't seem stable if he turns at high speeds. Any help is appreciated.

not a very wide stance on those. we put on some wheel spacers front and back on ours and it helped alot, very stable with the kid on it still a little tippy with me on it. gotta figure the difference is I am up on a knee on the seat and makes it a lot more topheavy...

yeah, that's what I put on ours last year and they have been just fine. I'm not on it much, mostly just the boys and i'm not worried at all about them. basically they are just stud extenders for the wheels to kick them out from the hubs. some say they will wreck the machine but so far they have been fine, i think if you put a lot of weight on them over time they will cause problems. not the case in what we are doing.

I'll pick some up then, thanks. I had tried flipping the front rims already and helped a little.

I wanna say I got the 3" (1.5" on both sides) and it helped a lot. Maybe it was the 5" I got, can't remember.
