Default Can I Ride Without Spark Arrestor installed?

Long story short, I broke all 3 bolts holding my stock spark arrestor in on my Z400. So right now, its not in at all, and is just an open hole in my exhaust. I have not ran it since I broke the bolts, but will it cause any harm running it for a day without it? Im going four wheeling and want to take it, but do not want to blow it up by running without the spark arrestor on stock jetting. Will I be okay, or should I leave it home? I need an answer asap, so I can arrange what im taking up.

I never had a issue on any of my quads when I removed them.

its ok to run without it but in most cases is might make it run a little leaner.

It might run a little crappy on the low end, and it will probably sound like crap. Just keep an eye on your head pipe, if it starts glowing red you are running too lean. You may have also lost a little torque on the low end without the proper canister design for the back-pressure.

yeah you should be fine for a while, just try to get it fixed fairly soon cuz sometimes you can end up cooking ur exhaust valves from the lack of backpressure.

spark arrestors are not required at all except by the place your riding at my gytr exhaust did not even come with one they are simply to prevent stuff catching fire they dont affect how lean or rich your quad will run because they dont restrict any air
