suzuki eiger wont rev after water ride

If you dont get that airbox lid shut right also, it will get water in there. The lid doesnt want to go on with the plenum tube still connected. Not crazy about the snorkel location. Overall, very nice machine, especially for just a 400 air cooled. Wouldnt mind getting some more oomph out of it. Top end is only 48mph. Really surprising on the torque and speed for that motor though, even loaded down with boxes on the front and back. Need to figure out the reverse speed limiter and put some handwarmers on it.

i put a HMF penland pro on my eiger and love it. sounds great.
Yep, cleaned carb out thoroughly. THe main issue was the vaccum line to the petcock. I guess these have a fuel pump in the tank and that is why it wouldnt run above idle. Took the bike to Canada. We got water in the clutch. Great thing about these is that there is a drain plug on the bottom of the clutch housing to drain the clutch. Great design by Suzuki. NOt crazy about how low and big the intake for the clutch cooling is, but as long as you dont suck water in there, you are fine. Nice bike overall.
Has anyone put on an aftermarket exhaust? Is it worth the money?
