not the cam, cdi? anyone have a smaller jet i could buy, or a new carb, any help would be good, i really want to get this thing going

Do yourself a favor and upgrade to a 28mm flat slide carb if you go with a new one. Will make your quad run great, and give a performance boost to boot!
