Hi, is what you have a lt250 Quadracer if yes make sure the spark plug is touching one the head studs or nuts to make it spark. If your trying to get spark on the head or cylinder itself it won't it's aluminum. If you don't have experience with carbs on motorcycles your best to bring it to a bike shop to remove it and take a look inside. Sometimes doing it yourself costs more money than it should have. Just my personal opinion and don't take it to heart Happy Trails dude and fun quad had one 91

Start with the easy stuff for the no spark problem. Make sure the ground is good and that the wiring harness is whole(no place the insulation has worn off and is grounding out) Once in a while even brand new plugs are bad, might not hurt to have another one to try. As for the carb, just dig in. Usually you can get it pretty clean just by pulling the float bowl and removing the jets. Be gentle and diligent as there are small/fragile parts in there. I would print off an exploded parts diagram before starting.

I don't remember the bike enough to help you with that one but if I'm guessing it would have to be the stator plate. You would need a puller for that to remove it. gees it's been a long time.

The carbs not hard to get off, just unscrew the two worm clamps, twist it a little and it should come out of it's mountings then just take off the fuel line and screw uo the top cap and your done. It does help to remove the tank and plastics for room, especially if the intake tube pops off the airbox, which seems to happen on mine.
