Default LTZ250 Stalling when looped out

Does anyone know why my LTZ250 stalls when it's pointing straight up? Like if a wheelie goes to far, and it's stuck up on the grab bar.

My RMZ250 doesn't.

Also, to restart it, I have to apply full throttle when hitting the starter, then apply light throttle for ten seconds or so, or it stalls.

Thank You.

Sounds to me like it's flooding the motor.
Full throttle start points me in that direction.

yeah your just flooding it is all. its no big deal. the best you can do get it back down on the wheels quickly when you hit the grab bar. and the reason the rmz doesnt do it is because its a race bike and the carb is way better and designed to handle the whoops and big air racing demands. the ltz is just a leisurely sport quad that in the manual they tell you to keep it on the ground. but thats no fun so we have to just deal with it....lol

Thank you. It is good to hear that it is not dying lean (no fuel). I did notice yesterday that the carb drain spits a little gas out, and I thought it may be starved of fuel.

I also found out that my RMZ has a fuel pump in the tank, for the EFI. But my old RM125 didn't stall at extreme angles.

Default carb...

Let me first say I'm not a pro rider but i been told on the design of the bowl of the mukuni carb for the ltz250 is not picking up fuel when in a wheelie or climbing steep hills their is another bowl that will replace the stock bowl , and it helps with this problem but i cannot find that bowl any more for the carb, but it did exist. Ive had the cutting out problem to. so don't ride a mile wheelie and check your jetting.
