ok just a question i know lt230s is a 4 stroke but thats it and i know everythang about the lt250r but what is the main difference which one has more power and which one would u want?? jus seein if the lt230s is a better quad then the lt250r just dont know much about the lt230s

 

i have one of each and the 230 frame is more suited to the woods as its smaller all the way around. and it has a very usable engine. and with a little work it really comes alive. check my albums for my mods ive done to mine.

 

While the 230 is a fun little quad, it plays second fiddle to a 250R any day. Less power, less suspension, smaller frame, poorer handling. either can be a good ride, but the 2 strokes are going to be more fun and have a better hop up potential.

 

ya i have two lt250rs both 86s and i was thinkin about tradein this guy with a lt230 for the pitbike i have all the lt needs is tires will lt250r rear rims fit on the lt230
