Yes but why would it be out of balance? Those holes were drilled from factory to balance it according to ThumperTalk. I can't see how it would be out of balance, you know what I mean?

I understand the counterweight theory I have taken apart plenty of controllers, and its the same concept as the crank balancer in the engine. But like I said there are no chunks taken out besides the factory drill holes so I'm sure it's got to be balanced but I can always put it on a lawn mower blade balancer to find out.

I didn't know those where factory drilled holes. It didn't look like it but maybe they are. If those are factory drilled holes, than you should be fine. They are pre-balanced at the factory, so long as its stock, it should be fine. I thought one of them had more holes drilled in it?

It does, apparently that is how unique each flywheel is, but at the same time I can not understand how their casting molds are THAT far off.

More parts came in today, all new swing arm bearings, seals & spacers. Also all new seals for the shock, cushion lever and arm. The missing swing arm bolt cap & axle carrier long washer were also in the order.

Where you able to get the trans gear switched out? Some of those things like the washers and nuts you could probably have saved some money and bought them at the hardware store for like 15 cents a piece.

Yes I switched out both the drive and driven gears, pretty easy just need patience with those C-clips. I could have gone to the hardware store but I did not know the thread and exact style, I also did not know the width of the washer it was only 2 parts.

As for the welding, the bill came to $85 combined between the swinger and case half. Pretty nice looking weld extended all the way across to prevent future cracking.

The inside was not welded, the break was not even fully closed before welding I don't think but he said he used a clamp.

Here is the case half, will need to be grinded smoother with a dremel tool.

Those welds look pretty nice. I got my 250s cases split today after finally getting that sprocket bolt off. Ended up using a plumbers wrench to hold the sprocket and an a 3 foot socket wrench. I had to step on the socket wrench to get it to come off. The cases split easy, and I'm getting the case welded tomorrow. Hopefully your project is coming along good.

And as long as the bearings fit in good in that swingarm, you should be ok.

They are decent, I am worried about a few spots possibly leaking oil not sure.

Not sure why they stopped here:

The other one is a bit better, my grandfather thinks they "drip welded" this side.

That one hole I would take it back and have them weld that some more. If they are a good shop and value their name, they should fix those spots for free since they didn't really finish the job it looks like.
