Wheres the Starter located on a king quad 300?

Yeah it's under the airbox, remove the airbox and it's pretty easy after that....you can usually get a rebuild kit on ebay for these starters.

It wasnt the starter motor it looks like the solenoid is goosed. What a b****ch to take out.
Should have it up an running again by next weekend.

I am having the same problems with my king quad, when I try to start it the fan fuse light on the handle bar lights up and it also makes a clicking sound when I try to start it. What did you do to fix it?

Yes the battery is charged and the ignition works but it won't start (with the electric starter) I manage to role start it though.
