I just bought a LT80 for my 8 year old. It seems to smoke to much and needs choked all the time. Should I start with the carb or is this a oil system problem? Does anyone know where I can find a manual for this? This is my first 2 stroke, so a manual would be helpful.

Welcome to the forums.
It's a carb problem. A good cleaning should take care of it.
Look on ebay. I got a manual on CD for like 10 bucks.
