Question 03 Eiger prob

I bought a used 2003 Eiger 400 auto this week and I have idle issuses, problem is it will not sit and idle and a little hard to start with or without using choke.
I think it also has a little of a miss to it while riding or like it is reving up and down on its own any suggestions
plan to put new plug, what is the best way to adjust carburetor????

Yeah, start with a good carb cleaner and saturate carb...may have to dis-assemble but start w/ a good cleaning.

your float is stuck. quad is still good. carb needs to come off, we can help you out with the minor repair. while apart, we'll get you to clean the carb and jets. then change the oil in the crankcase, you'll be ready to rocknroll.

sure........you could save some money, clean it really good, check out the float action, clean the jets, slap it back in and, BAM, it's good to go. as you can tell, it's not too difficult to remove the carb. you could always pull it again later and rebuild it. OR, just do it now. either way, it'll work.

I may be overstating the obvious...but make sure you change the oil & filter & plug.
