Hello everyone,

Yesterday I tried to adjust the air/fuel mixture adjustment screw on the carb to help with the idle and red hot pipe issue. I was told if you screw this all the way in or all the way out the engine will bog out. I did it both ways and the engine was not affected, it stayed the same. I pulled the screw all the way out and found a spring and also a broken brass washer and broken o ring (I ordered them new). Could this be my problem, and also when adjusting the screw should it bog down? What is the correct setting for this?
