Welcome to the forums.
The petcock:your correct, it's operated by vaccum: On prime, fuel should run constant.
On run, it should only flow when the motor is turning over/running.
FYI: I've blown back thru the fuel line to clean the lil filters in the tank.
Let's go from there.

I did take the filters out last night. There is a filter on the left a small one its orange it was clean, I blew threw it and everything, Then to the right of the filter there is a tube, It looks like there is no filter but I do not know how to tear the tube apart. Prime works great but on the on position after i turn it over for about 2 minutes i take it off and it just lets a couple drips out of it. I will Go tear the filter our again.

I just tore it apart. I took the back plate off where the suction/vaccum is I believe. It seemed to be clean. I could blow through the golden tip that connects the gas line to the carb. I had to blow extremely hard though. The golden tube that sits in the gas tank I could Not blow or suck air through that. There wasn't any dirt or anything inside it.

Is your vaccum hose connected at the right spot (hole closest to the motor)?
Could the vac hole be plugged at the carb?

I believe so. I got the vaccum line on the whole on the backside of fuel valve. And that line is connected to the middle of the carb. I have the fuel line on the front of the valve on the piece and the line connected to the other gold tip that almost goes into the bowl. I took the fuel line off covered it with my thumb though and it kicked a little bit so i put the line back on and it started and ran for about 20 seconds then just died again. This occured about 15 minutes ago.

I think you may have it correct.
I look at it as:: hole closest to the motor= vaccum::Middle gold tube is the fuel inlet::Front hole is the vent.
Petcock:: tube closest to the on/prime handle is the fuel out.:: hole farthest from the on/prime handle is vaccum.

I re-read your original post and I'd like to clarify.
If you put the petcock on prime, does fuel flow out the fuel supply hose constant?
If the fuel does run constant, your saying that the motor don't run but a few seconds?

Yup Thanks, It runs for periods of time but I'm pretty positive the motor is blown now because it is blowing base oil right out of the exhaust. I know thats not good ha.

Hey, You helped me earlier with the lt80, I let it sit for a couple days and it is running awesome now haha. But I was wondering if you could help me out, I am new to the website and I don't know how to post a thread or a topic. I am trying to find out where the oil drain plug is on my 1992 timberwolf 250. I looked at the bottom of the base and I can't find out where it is thanks.
