It spews white smoke at start up. Then goes away. Even though it is right at 5 years old, it only has 1800 miles on it. I just recently changed oil and filter. Has maybe 50-60 miles since oil change. It seems to do this after sitting for a week or more. Other than that, it runs great!
What?? could this be? Maybe overfilled the oil?

 

The thing is, dirt makes a great abrasive. Mileage/hours really don't matter if that air filter wasn't installed right, or was clogged at one point, or you had a small intake leak that let some dirt in. If it is only at start up after it has been sitting, i would just keep an eye on oil consumption and go from there. Also white smoke might be coolant, so keep an eye on that as well.

 

If you have the stock air filter, change to an Uni or Twin Air air filter. The stock air filters were known to be an issue.

 

I have a Twister Kart and I try to start it. Motor turns over but there is no spark to plug.Please help. Present for kids,and they are getting really inpatient,so am I.Where do we start?Anyone else had this problem

 

First, you need to start a new thread Then try this... new plug... check for good ground... check for bad wiring/connections
