LT80 Carb Question
Hi any who look at this im new owner of a 99 lt 80 and new to forum been looking on here a bit and seems to be very helpful people.
I am thinking of buying the boysen reeds and wanted to know when i remove the carb and reed cage i am assuming any gasket or o-ring will be shot. Can someone tell me what gaskets,0-rings or both ill need for replacement once i install new reeds and reassemble. Thank you

Welcome to the forums.
There is a o ring that goes in the insulator (black plastic thing). It is re-used.
I use a lil grease to hold it in place during installation.
The reed cage has a o ring but it's made into the cage itself. It cannot fall out/etc.
The reed cage screws are phillips head and can be tough to get out. I use a ratchet and special thingie to make it a phillips head (#3 phillips). Some use vise grips.
I replace those with hex head bolts (6mmx100x16)

THx alot Lt 80. I see what u mean on the reed cage bolts i tried everything and can not get them. Think i would have to pull the motor to get them and figure if i have to do that the reeds are good enough lol. Thx alot for the info and i seen on another thread that u use a different chain and sprockets for yours that works well could u elaborate on your chain and sprocket set up plz THx LT80
