One of your jets(pilot I think) could be clogged. Mine did the same thing an that's what the problem was. When you take apart the carb clean it out also. These Quads run lean from the factory so i wouldn't be afraid to bump it up. Sense yours seems pretty lean I'd try a 132 main jet so see how it runs then an start from there.

Ok I'd definitely put a bigger main jet in it would be my first choice. Also make sure no hoses on the carb are not pinched or anything too.

A bigger main jet should fix the high rpm throttle let off backfire, it did for me an i wind that thing up pretty good.

Any cycle shop should have them. I went to Suzuki an they didn't have the right ones so I headed to Performance Cycle an they had them there. Make sure you get the right type of jet, they shouldn't look like a long nut, it should be round short and a split for a regular screw driver. Sorry for the laggy response, been busy lately an it ant slowing down. You'll have to let us know how it goes.

My local cycle shop sold them for $4.50 a jet which isn't bad. What elevation do you ride? We might be able to give you a guess on where to start on jet size, or if you go to a place where people know what your talkin about they should be able to help you also.
