hello i have a 87 suzuki 250 4x4 that i baught about 2 years ago and it always started first or second turn latly it now kills the battery and i gotta boost it when it goes i can run it no problem if it sits any longer than 5 minutes it wont start kills the battery and gotta boost it again !!!! does anyone have any ideas?????????

 

Welcome to the forums.
It sounds like a compression problem to me.
Could be the piston or valves out of adjustment.

 

Like lt80 said. If it runs good once it is started I would lean towards the valves. Check the valve clearance
