06 eiger clutch?
#1
Im new to the forum here.
Just got an 06 suzuki eiger 4x4 with the manual shifting (no belt).
Idk if its how these bikes are but it feels to me that the clutch kind of lags or slips a little when taking off slowly even in first, in low range you dont notice it at all. Any ideas if its the clutch? And i have seen the case apart there looks like 2 clutches. A starter clutch? and then the main one?
If anyone is familiar with these and has worked on it let me know. Im an auto mechanic so normally can fogure this out but never worked on one like this.

Might be normal, the 400/King Quad is only a 376cc and weighs 590lb yet it can hit over 50 mph in high range so its a taller geared ATV. I guess thats why they put a low range on it for slow rougher trail riding.
In Comparison my smaller lighter 348cc Grizzly is only 28cc less and wieghs 538lbs and is lucky to go over 45mph.
Would be nice to take another one for a ride to see if its normal.
