1999 250 quadrunner carb settings
#1
I just picked up a 99 quadrunner 250 2wd and the carb is off and completely apart. The guy took it to a shop and they told it the bike needed new front brakes and the carb rebuilt for $550
. I know I can do all the work, but I need to know what the mixture screw setting is as far as the baseline or what it should be at stock. And the float setting too, I know on both my polaris bikes the float setting is upside down level with the bowl mounting surface. Will it be the same on this bike too? Thanks in advance!

well I guess nobody has a (somewhere around)1999 quadrunner and has EVER had to work on it.... the bike is supposed to run like a champ but the carb needs rebuilt and is already taken apart.... all I need is a starting point for the settings but I guess the zuki guys aren't as friendly or as helpful as the POLARIS folks... too bad..... I guess I'll buy a manual for it and not give info like the rest of you guys.....

Sorry bud, I got rid of that machine a year or so ago and gave the new owner the manual. If I had to make a guess, I'd say make the float level when upside down unless they're the round floats(I cant remember which ones it had) then the tang would be level when upside down. I hope this helps🤞
