230s with dg rcm backfire HELP!!

You believe your main is fine because the plug is black?

no with the stock exhaust its rich but with the dg exhaust when i get it on there it should get me to were i want it. i dont wanna be lean or rich. i believe they call it stoich. but in theory putting the dg pipe on it should make it not so rich or not rich at all. it should be ok for now if it is rich cuz were just getting into our cooler weather and winter is coming. also i will have a uni filter and a 250 cam in it for next spring so im sure i will have to do some more carb work then

I thought you said it was black with the DG exhaust? And backfiring? The title of your thread is "230s with dg rcm backfire HELP!!"

Actually the 250s had leaner jets and a richer needle.

i didnt run it long enough to know for sure. it was starting to get black and i stopped running it and pulled the dg. i never really rode it so i cant say for sure if its rich with the dg. yes i was shooting foot long flame ***** out lol

Flame ***** would be lean

lol i know i kinda confused you. yes i get the flame ***** when i rev it up and let off the throttle. thats is the reason i wanted to try richening up my pilot to see if it helps.
