My 2004 Quadsport has been sitting for years, what to do?

I got my z250 quadsport back from storage and need to service all the fluids. Where do I learn how to do this? A manual? The manual for this atv is $80. Not reasonable

I think you should be able to find a free manual somewhere on this site. I was lead to a site for my Honda manual for free of course
If that doesn't work I have fixed an engine by watching YouTube videos jut keep searching your model. I sometimes watch other models that are almost like mine and seems to work too

1. Gas tank: Pull it off, and clean it out. There is likely quiet a bit of trash in the tank due to sitting for so long
2. Brake fluid: Bleed it and replace it with whatever the owner's manual recommends.
3. Engine oil. Drain it and replace it with whatever the owner's manual recommends.
You don't need a service manual to get this info, you just need an owner's manual, and they are fairly cheap on ebay. Or if you remind me tonight, I'll check the manual for my 2009 LT-Z250. I assume the information would be the same.
What you may need a service manual for is to clean out and adjust the carb. Which you will most likely need to do.

Mike, the brand is a 2004 Suzuki z250 quadsport.
Thank you all. I'm familiar with all the parts and what they are called, I just don't want to do anything wrong by diving in and getting it all done without specific guidance. I'd rather follow a step by step manual or video so I don't miss anything.
I want to start with transmission (gears?), as it's really sticky. That's where I'm not sure.
Thanks for the tips, I will start researching. I've been out of the loop for years due to school so I just need to refamiliarize myself with my quad.
