Default 2013 z400 hose not connected to any thing?

hey guys I noticed on my z400 there is a small black hose kind of like the one attached to the gas cap that's not connected to any thing. Its on the right hand side hanging down near the clear coolent tank near the front of the motor area. is that supposed to not be connected?

No it is just an over flow hose. It may be hooked to your overflow valve on the carb to prevent leaking on the motor when flooded..

It's the vent tube for the gas tank. Should be routed down through the handle bars. Do not close it off, it needs to be open.
