I've got to fix my brother-in-law's Suzuki. I have no idea what model it is. I couldn't find the a serial # and the things been painted several times. I do have this information:

229cc 4-stroke engine
Made 9/86
Vin# JSAAJ46A
It's has a reverse handle on the left side (maybe added.
It has a exposed pull start on the left side (also electric, lights etc)
Also has "REVERSE" on the pull start cover, sort of like my old ALT-185.
It's some sort of sport looking quad.
hydraulic disc brakes, rear for sure and I think fronts to, I know the fronts are hydraulic.


It seems old the have some of these features but I'm pretty sure it said it was made 9/86. I've got to order some parts and I'm not sure if the VIN number will do any good. I need a front sprocket, gas cap and several other things.

Any ideas?

i'm thinkin maybe a quadsport 230 but i dunno cuz i don't think they had a pull start.

 

Its a Suzuki Lt230E because i own one and it has a pull start on the left the word reverse is written on the side of it, it has electric start and hydraulic disc brakes front and rear its a Quadrunner not to be confused with the quadsport model....

 

Thanks for the info. I just thought I could have taken a picture of it (duh) because I had the digital camera up there. Anyway I knew I could count on yall for help.
