I go to a suzuki dealer website and use their parts fiche.
90/100 inch pounds on the head nuts.
Gap: as long as there is a gap it'll be fine.
What brand parts are coming?
ummm.....LT50 screaming??? LOL
Well if you thought that was funny you're gonna really laugh at me now ! LOL
Purchased on Amazon.com
From "TOP NOTCH PARTS"
It was cheap, free shipping, and it looked better than a lot of other cheap parts I found.
I figure it's good enough for the kids right ? Hahaha
Okay......new top end, and it's running great. Just 1 little issue I would like some advice on. If im not mistaken, and im understanding it correctly, then this thing has a really weird petcock. No " off" position. The "prime" position which is horizontal left or right, gravity feeds fuel to the carb for cold starting. The "on/open" position which is vertical, uses a vacuum operated diaphragm pump within the petcock.
So here is my issue.......the factory cylinder I removed had a hose barb on the cylinder right next to where the inlet tube connects. The OEM replacement didn't.
I am thinking I would rather drill, tap, and insert fitting on the inlet tube itself rather than the cylinder. It would be easier, and it would be cheaper to fix if I mess it up.
Any reason this won't work or that I shouldn't do it ?
Any input anyone has is greatly appreciated
