will not start when choked but will with no choke, dies when throttle opened, it ran poorly last time running then came out of it. The flywheel / magnets were bad and replaced, the carb was cleaned with new needle and seat, and I do use non-oxy premium fuel. Also had fuel petcock replaced any ideas as to the problem ?

 

Check to see if the spark plug is firing good. Also I replaced my petcock & added a fuel cut-off valve- due to gas getting in the oil.

 

try firing it up then placing your hand/rag/etc over the air filter hole restricting the air flow and see if it'll rev up, if it does you're getting too much air.

 

mine acted that way, would start and idle perfect but as soon as i gave it gas it would bog and die. mine had a plugged carburetor vent hose that goes under the seat.
