Default Suzuki LT50 - adding a front weight

I want to add the front weight to my kids LT50 to provide a bit more stability when turning etc, I have just realised the front bar on the frame does not have the bolts/holes to attach the weight to the frame - do some of the lt50 not have this from new?

Not sure about the added front weight for corner stability. You can add wheel stud extenders or solid wheel spacers to widen the quad.

Moving weight closer to the machines CG (center of gravity) will improve handling, moving weight over the front wheels will no nothing more than increase steering effort and cause excessive push in corners. Lt has the right idea...just widen the front a tad...

I think it is an optional extra, not sure how it fits, may go round the front member, may use the bull bar bolt holes. As Suzuki make them, they have a reason, I suspect bigger children will make them front end light. I do, and they understeer wildly when I test drive them.

Making it wider is cheaper and just simply better all-around...IMHO...
