Sorry I didn't reply right away to your message, but I usually don't post over the weekend. Yes, I still have the quad...attached is a pic of the rear...I'll try to take more for you and post tomorrow. There are other possibilities to get the MXR shock to work. The eye on the bottom comes off (I needed to add 3/4" spacer to get the fronts right...not easy to get off but they do come off), so, in theory, you could remove the bottom eye and replace it with a stock clevis from a doner. I'm pretty sure it'll be another fab job to do that, but that would eliminate the need to pull the bearing carrier and the required mods to make it work for the bottom eye...

Also...I used wheel spacers to balance out the front/rear width...once again, just another option the rather expensive extended axel...

Just some thoughts...

I look forward to more pics so I can see how the shock is held where it needs to be on the bottom and also how you set it up to be removable on the bottom.. once I get this suspension figured out I am going to need to send the motor out to get it tuned up! Thanks again

Lt80 I apologize if this is not a good way to ask a question but I’m new to the forum and lt80’s as well, but I’ve been trying to upgrade my kid’s lt80 and I’m just looking for advice for mild motor work and suspension upgrades if possible
