Chain adjustment Early LT80?

There is no adjustment of LT80 chains. There is a chain adjuster out there. Or you can get new sprockets and chain, 10 front and 22 rear (520 chain size). If you have a 1988/89 you will have 420 chain size. Suzuki went to the 520 because of this issue. The 520 set-up works fine.
Chain guard: If I remember correct, it's 3 - 6mm bolts (10mm wrench size). 2 in the back and 1 by the front sprocket.
Did you clean the carb?

It has the 520 chain, but its pretty sloppy, i'll lube it and run it until it begins to be noisy or jumps off and breaks the trans Carb is good to go, The quad has been gifted around between 3 friends and my kiddos are the youngest and will be moving to it soon- Im the guy who bought dirtdevel101's blue tank a few years back when i originally got it up and running for another friend- the original petcock bolts broke off inside the brass bushing- and the bushing spun inside the tank. Neat quad, im seriously thinking about 2" wheel spacers as the kiddos ages 6,7,9 transition from wide modern quads (raptor 90) and jump on this thing not understanding its narrow stance. my 3yr old is the one that I will need to worry about in the future, he is already eating the rev limiter on the lt50 and his hands are so small he cant reach the brake lever.......he uses the kill button as brakes....yeah, i know
